 WHERE DO I START!!  Beth was recommended to me by one of my close friends.  I was super nervous finding someone who was going to actually help.  Within the first 5 minutes, I knew Beth was going to be a great fit for Banks!  She listens to you as the owner and knows what works specifically for the dog.  She was so accommodating on where we could meet and what times worked best for ME.  She's also been able to help with the newest family member, Sully, who is a complete 180 from Banks.  Thankful for all of her incredible help!!  Can't wait for future lessons. 

 We have a 7-year-old reactive cattle dog, and we have always been able to control his environment to avoid triggers and keep him comfortable…until we had a baby and that baby started crawling. Not being careful enough, our daughter got in his space, which resulted in him scratching her across the face and landing her in the ER. This put us in a position to make a very tough decision. How do we keep them both safe? We owed it to our dog to do everything we could, when everyone else around us was telling us to rehome him. He is our baby too. So we called Beth. Full of emotions and not knowing what to expect, Beth came to our home that weekend, and got to know our dog, our family, our environment, and carefully crafted a plan. We began working on three main goals - changing our dog’s emotional response to an unpredictable baby, how we can separate the two to keep them BOTH safe, and training him (and us!) with obedience skills to maintain control. Over the next few months, meeting with Beth weekly, we noticed a shift in our dog and in our family dynamic.  She equipped us with the tools we needed to set him up for success and we trusted the process. She is always willing to take a call or text with questions as we work with him at home - even late at night. We put in the work, and it’s paying off. We feel safe again. He feels safe again. He hates strangers but gets excited to see Beth, because he actually enjoys the challenge of learning new skills, so we are continuing training even after fixing the initial reason we called her. And with a now walking toddler who will continue to change and grow, we will need to ensure he is also prepared for the changes as well.  We noticed his quality of life significant improve because of her. When I say she saved our family, I am not exaggerating. She helped us during one of the hardest times of our lives, gave us hope and direction. We cannot thank her enough for what she’s done for our family, and I HIGHLY recommend her if you are also struggling with a reactive dog. There’s hope, and you can make it work. If you’re on the fence, just call her. It’ll be one of the best decisions you make.

We have had several dogs over the years & use many different trainers. She by far is our first choice! We have referred many friends to her and they all were very satisfied with her services! 

 Beth was so amazing with our pup Hoss. There were so many things we needed to work on from jumping on people, walking without pulling, separation anxiety, you name it! Beth was so patient and kind with him as well as with us. She truly made us feel at ease and within the first 2 sessions we saw such a drastic change with Hoss. You can truly see that Beth does this job with her whole heart. She became someone I can truly confide in and feel safe when it comes to our pup. Our sessions quickly began to feel like I was hanging out with a friend who just so happened to be amazing in training my pup. I am SO glad we found Beth! She has been so wonderful to us and our German Shepard Bailey! The first place we went to for training made us feel like Bailey was a bad and scary dog, but Beth assured us that wasn’t the case. Beth listened to our wants and needs as owners and worked with us to get us to where we wanted Bailey to be. If anyone is looking for an in-home dog trainer, Beth, owner of Harvey & Co Dog Training, is your girl! We’ve had two training sessions so far and I have already learned an incredible amount. She is working with our three monsters and helping us to better understand each dog individually and adjust our approach to meet them where they’re at based on their different personalities and behaviors.

         Ms.Beth Venezia was able to make a trust filled connection with

my young rescued, highly fear reactive dog. She was very patient

and empathetic to my dog's numerous and deep seeded fear reactive behaviors that were caused by a previous and

unprovoked dog attack. Beth was always willing to go the extra

mile and was phenomenal with staying in touch by exercising

effective and timely communication practices. Beth possesses in

depth knowledge and expertise on dog behaviors, breed

teaching me how to utilize a number of very effective training

techniques which helped reinforce previous learned skills. My dog

and I both gained confidence and mutual trust during the training

sessions with Beth. My dog also increased her ability to stay

under threshold and react less to trigger like circumstances. Beth

continually motivated my dog with positive rewards. She routinely

used the best tasty chicken morsels as yummy rewards for my

very food motivated dog. My dog whom initially feared Beth grew

to trust her and Beth became a member of my dogs trusted inner

circle tribe sort to speak.
